Little Paws Kitten Rescue- Ayesha

Hi, my name is Ayesha. I have special needs because I came to little paws from a difficult background. I was one of many kittens to a feral mother. My siblings adapted well and got adopted but I've struggled. I'm now about 18 months old and I'm beginning to understand normal cat behaviour. My foster mum thinks I may be mildly intellectually impaired too?
I don't like being picked up. If you do pick me up I turn into solid rock and just tolerate it. However I do find this less distressing than i use to so in time, hopefully I'll relax more?
I get on very well with my foster cat friends, they try to teach me about how to be a domestic cat. I've recently learnt to do a tiny quiet meow but I don't use it much. I do not scratch, hiss or fight in any way, I don't seem to know I can. For this reason I'm at the bottom of the pecking order but I dont mind, I just want a peaceful life.
My only defense is to run or freeze which makes be very vulnerable, so I must live inside within a safe environment. I need a home where my special needs will be met and understood. I would be best with adult carers and only safe dogs. I get on well with my foster mum's Kelpie X dog.
I'm litter trained, love my food, sitting in the sun and playing with my foster friends. I can become quite silly with them mucking around having fun.
All Little Paws kitties? come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws kitties are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, for their safety and health and for the environment. It is our foster carers choice as to which home a kitty goes to. We match kitties to their new family; we do not necessarily ?sell? to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising kitties in their own home, we would appreciate a call if you cannot make an appointment.
